Message from president of our corporate
Hello. My name is Noritaka Numata, and I am the President of Im Co., Ltd.
Im Co., Ltd. was established when it was spun off from one of the divisions of its parent company, Image Co., Ltd. (now Image Holdings Co., Ltd.), in July 2005.
The parent company, Image Holdings, has viewed the "entrepreneurial spirit" as a key component of its corporate culture since the company was founded. The manager system is a system for realizing this corporate culture, and I have been conducting business based on this system. In the six years from the launch of the business in 2000 until the company became independent, deliberations of the business were conducted every year. During this process, there were times when I just wanted to give up and throw in the towel.
However, I was kept on track by comments from customers. These were comments such as "I am glad I used it" and "I look forward to using your products." Customers making comments such as these provided inspiration when I was feeling down, and it is because of them that I have been able to continue working until now.
Looking back, I also had a sense of being somewhat protected, perhaps because the business began as a division of a company before we became independent, and to use a maritime metaphor, it was like a ship berthed in port. However, since I became President, I believe we are truly like a ship that has set out into the open sea. From now on, I intend to adopt clear policies as President and manage the company while referring to my compass. The employees working at Im will also perform their jobs professionally to ensure that the ship is safe and on course. I also see our customers as being lighthouses that guide us in the right direction, and I promise that all employees will work to please our customers to ensure we do not deviate from this course.
